A photographer. A journey into the desert.

By leaving with the aim of filming a journey in the desert, I wanted to capture those moments when we are confronted by ourselves and transformed by the act of travelling. Without limiting to a fictional or documentary approach, I had in mind the idea of photography and film coexisting around the notion of a personal quest that involves an environment, an “elsewhere”. Without so much comparing the two mediums, but rather departing from the two principals that film creates the truth of a moment and that photographs create a truth from a moment, here photography is approached as both a component and a driving force of film.
